Free Means Free at Shop-NC!
Most of our items ship for free within the continental United States and at Shop-NC, free does mean free.  If you return an item in accordance with our Money Back Guarantee and it was shipped to you for free, we do not deduct the outgoing shipping cost from your credit.  That's true free shipping and it is our way of standing behind our products.  "Free" might mean something else at other web sites; and we invite you to compare.

Where Free Shipping is not specified
To calculate shipping costs on items where free shipping is not specified, simply click the
button on the product's description page.  You will be asked for the destination zip code.  Submit this and the cost of shipping plus the total cost of your items will appear on the next screen.  No other information is gathered at this point.  After this, you may continue to shop, adjust quantities, check out or empty the shopping cart.  An order is never actually placed until you have completed the "Check Out" process.

We invite you to compare Shop-NC to other web sites that add "fixed" shipping charges; sites that offer "free" shipping but then deduct unspecified shipping charges from your refund; sites that won't tell you what shipping will cost until after you have provided personal information; and sites that later surprise you by separating shipping charges on your receipt after checkout.  We want you to know, Shop-NC is not like that.

How do items ship?
We ship via UPS, FedEx Ground, USPS and Common Carrier.  Always provide us with a physical house or business address and always give us a day time phone number.  Multiple item UPS and FedEx orders may ship and arrive separately. For items shipped by Common Carrier, the freight company will contact you by telephone to arrange final delivery.  

How long until I receive my order?
Most items usually ship within 2-5 business days of receiving an order.  Once shipped, ground  transit time is usually an additional 2-5 business days.  Typically, it's longest to the west coast. You can always reach us on the Web or phone for the latest update and status for your order.

Do I have to be home to receive delivery?
Except for large items traveling by Common Carrier (this is noted in an item's description) you do not have to be home to accept delivery - so ship to a location that is most convenient for you!  

Do you ship outside the continental US?
No, we only ship within the Continental United States and free shipping is never offered to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Canada, Europe or elsewhere outside of the Continental United States. We also cannot ship to PO and APO boxes, not because we do not support our troops, but because we cannot always select the delivery carrier and UPS and FedEx Ground do not deliver to PO and APO boxes.  If you need to ship to a PO, APO try a service called or if your outside the Continental United States, we suggest that you send your purchase to a friend, neighbor or relative with a regular shipping address in the Continental United States and then make arrangements for them to forward the item to its ultimate destination. What if my shipment is damaged?
In the event of shipping damage, Click Here for instructions and contact us within 24 hours so we can file a damage claim within the period permitted by our shippers.  It is very important that you follow instructions and contact us within 24 hours - our shippers require us to respond quickly and specifically and if you do not notify us of shipping damage according to a shippers requirements, we may be unable to replace a damaged order.
